Ethical Practices Policy Hero Background

Ethical Practices Policy for LinksMate Capital and Ventures

Ethical Practices Policy

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps that LinksMate Ventures Limited (“LinksMate” or the “Company”) has taken and continues to take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not present within our business operations or supply chain.

LinksMate Ventures Limited is a private investment firm focused on venture capital, private equity, and capital raising. We are committed to maintaining ethical conduct and integrity in all our business relationships, and we expect the same high standards from our employees, suppliers, and business partners.

As a financial services provider, LinksMate does not produce, manufacture, or retail physical goods. Our supply chain consists primarily of service providers, including IT, recruitment, legal, accountancy, marketing, and facilities management. While the nature of our suppliers is generally considered low risk for modern slavery and human trafficking, we remain vigilant and committed to preventing any such practices in our business and supply chain.

LinksMate has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with transparency in all employment and business practices. We have implemented effective systems and controls to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain. New suppliers are required to complete a due diligence questionnaire confirming compliance with modern slavery legislation. Suppliers that cannot meet these standards are not engaged.

We also have established policies, including a Whistleblowing Policy, to provide employees with a confidential platform to raise concerns related to modern slavery or human trafficking without fear of retaliation. In addition, staff training is an essential part of our approach, ensuring employees are aware of the risks and their role in maintaining ethical standards.

LinksMate is committed to continuing its efforts in preventing modern slavery and human trafficking throughout 2024 and will continuously assess and manage potential risks.

This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes LinksMate Ventures Limited’s modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 August 2024.
